Denver restaurateurs, staff split over paid sick leave proposal

A hotly debated proposal on this year's ballot in Denver would require businesses to provide workers with nine paid sick days per year. Restaurant owners oppose the plan, saying it will lead to staff taking days off for reasons other than illness, while workers say they'll still lose if they don't work, since most of their money comes from tips.
