Dog lovers form PAC in hopes of influencing S.F. election

San Francisco boasts more dogs than children, and many of the city's dog owners have formed a political action committee to represent the pack's interests in the upcoming mayoral election. Dog lovers got a chance to grill seven of the 16 candidates at a forum last weekend, on issues including the price of dog licenses and the availability of pet-friendly rental housing.
