Some Wash. state schools offer students job experiences

More schools in Washington state are offering opportunities for students to gain job skills and experience that better prepare them for the workforce. Four of five high schools in Spokane have in-school coffee shops, while other districts provide vocational training for at-risk students or those with learning disabilities. "Not everybody goes to college, but everybody gets a job," said Gordy Nelson, a career and technical education teacher.
