Teens underestimate calorie content in fast-food meals, survey says

A survey of 547 young people ages 11 to 20 found that 80% of them underestimated the calories found in the meals they ordered from fast-food chains. People who ordered meals with 1,000 calories underestimated the content by an average of 350 calories, researchers said at the annual Obesity Society meeting.
