Apple's release on Tuesday of the latest updates to the iPhone and iPod is fueling speculation about the company's continued impact on technology in education, suggests education blogger Audrey Watters. Some skepticism exists about whether the devices are living up to the hype -- particularly when used without a shift in instructional practices. However, the latest artificial-intelligence features, designed to increase personalization, could open up new possibilities for their use by students, she writes.
