$120M carbon-capture facility breaks ground in Texas

Work has begun on the country's first commercial-scale carbon-capture plant that will convert greenhouse gases into commercial-grade sodium bicarbonate and other "green chemicals." The $120 million facility is being built near the Capitol Aggregates cement plant in San Antonio from which it will capture emissions. CCC Group will be the general contractor, and Ford, Bacon & Davis along with Toyo-Thai will provide engineering procurement and construction services.
