Broadcast nets cut in to report on shooting near U.S. Capitol

ABC, CBS and NBC on Thursday afternoon interrupted their regular daytime schedule to report on an incident in Washington, D.C., in which a woman from Connecticut attempted to crash through a barrier at the White House and then led police on a high-speed chase that resulted in the Capitol being put on lockdown. Police eventually shot and killed the woman.
