GE plans Ky. center to help provide college degree, skills training

GE Appliances has announced plans to invest $1 million in a training center that would help current and future employees earn associate degrees in applied science and gain experience in skilled trades. The training center would be located in Louisville, Ky., and seek to create a pipeline of skilled workers for the company.
