Mich. teen solos in record time

Seth Killian spent six months completing the required ground school work to learn how to fly, and got a perfect score on his written test. The 16-year-old then completed his first solo flight at the Jackson County Airport in Michigan after only 17.5 hours of flight training. "He did it in record time, but that's only because he studied his butt off," said his instructor Anthony Zarinnia.
