Search for Gensler's successor at CFTC begins

A preliminary search for the next chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission is underway, with current boss Gary Gensler set to leave the post when his term expires at year’s end. Timothy Massad, an assistant secretary of the Treasury, Democratic CFTC member Mark Wetjen, former CFTC enforcement chief Geoffrey Aronow and New York Law School professor Ronald Filler are all said to be under consideration.
