Japan Asks Domestic Food Makers To Recall Products

Japan's Health Ministry has asked domestic food manufacturers to recall processed food products that could contain cow parts that might be unsafe and to stop using the parts in question in their products. The government's request, effective immediately, was made to ease the public's fears over the country's first BSE outbreak.
