Company: Valeant's Zelapar for Parkinson's gets conditional FDA approval

The FDA granted Valeant Pharmaceuticals International conditional approval for its drug Zelapar, used for treating Parkinson's disease, the company said. The agency told the company it would need clarification of information it had previously supplied about the drug, which once before had received conditional approval when it was owned by Amarin. Valeant acquired the Amarin's U.S. unit last year.
