ESPN poised to name Skipper to fill Shapiro's shoes

Media buyers close to ESPN say the sports network will name advertising sales EVP John Skipper to replace Mark Shapiro, former EVP for programming and production. Skipper's first tasks will be renegotiating ESPN's deal with NASCAR and honchoing the network's new "Monday Night Football" venture with the National Football League.
