Online ads to pass TV in Britain by 2010

The U.K. online ad market will reach $3.75 billion by the end of this year and will surge past TV by the end of the decade, according to Guy Phillipson, CEO of the U.K.'s Interactive Advertising Bureau. A rise in broadband connections, which are now in 10 million British homes, is largely driving the Net ad market's success, Phillipson said.
