Grade inflation has crept into some of the country's most prestigious colleges and universities, masking the difference between good and outstanding students, professors say. Teachers may fear poor student evaluations or confrontation if they give lower grades to students who have come to expect A's, writes Tufts University instructor Phil Primack.
