Antidote molecules might make aptamer blood thinners safer

Experimental antidote agents effectively controlled the activity of aptamer compounds used to prevent blood clots in laboratory tests, researchers reported. The finding could lead to drugs that reverse the blood-thinning effect of aptamer medicines and make them safer for patients, according to the study.
