British pilots to highlight fatigue issue in 35 countries

British pilots plan to stage protests today in 35 countries over the issue of rules regulating allowable flying time. "Fatigue is a factor now in 10 to 15 percent of all air accidents, and pressure on pilots is growing," says the chief of the British Airline Pilots' Association, who wants Parliament to pass new limits. By law, pilots are banned from conducting protests in airports in the U.K.
