Survey: British financial firms report greater confidence

A survey by the Confederation of British Industry and Pricewaterhouse Coopers found British firms are seeing the first signs of recovery. Banks, meanwhile, said they were feeling "more confident" for the first time since the financial crisis began two years ago. "Signs of a brighter outlook are appearing in the financial-services sector," said Ian McCafferty, the CBI's chief economic adviser.
