Chinese shoppers bring bling to the bathroom

The Chinese are splurging on luxury lavatories, spending thousands of dollars for high-end Japanese toilets with built-in bidets, heated seats and gold-banded tanks. Industry-watchers say the boom is being driven by consumers who grew up with squat toilets and stinky bathrooms and are now looking for something more sanitary. "I think we've earned the right to have clean, nice bathrooms," says one shopper.
