Drug-abuse whistle-blower sues former employer

A media producer who says he was fired for complaining about a co-worker's drug use has filed a wrongful-dismissal lawsuit. The Santa Monica, Calif.-based company says it fired the worker after he threatened to hide cameras in office bathrooms in a bid to gather evidence of his co-workers' drug use -- a remark the plaintiff says was made in jest.
