Online entertainment grabs children's attention, NPD says

Digital entertainment is gaining favor among children, but physical media such as CDs and DVDs remain the preferred technology for content such as music, movies and games, according to research from The NPD Group. Children now spend 21 cents of each entertainment dollar on downloaded content, a 6% increase in two years, and younger children are getting more savvy about digital entertainment options.
