Should more attention be paid to high-school achievement?

Improvement on standardized tests in reading and math is being seen among elementary- and middle-school students more often than at the high-school level, according to a recent study by the Center on Education Policy. The study also shows that fewer high-school students are scoring at advanced levels. The data show cause "for concern about the achievement of high-school students," according to the authors of the study.
