Do England's students prefer videos to books?

England's National Literacy Trust reports that a growing number of students are ditching reading in favor of video-based communication. Since 2005, the number of students who report reading outside of school has dropped by 25%, and about one-third of students between 8 and 16 say they do not read at all in their free time. Officials say peer pressure and embarrassment are among the factors contributing to the decline.
