Young journalists at WCES-TV bring news to classrooms

Students write and deliver news, sports, weather and morning announcements at Coopertown (Tenn.) Elementary School, where each classroom contains a TV networked with the school's own television studio. The program has enabled formerly camera-shy eighth-graders to improve their writing and speaking skills while becoming local celebrities.
