Report: Most social networkers are over 25

MySpace and other social networking sites apparently aren't solely the virtual playground of the under-25 set: According to comScore Media Metrix, 68% of MySpace's 55 million users are 25 and older, as are 71% of Friendster's 1 million users. The same is true for Facebook, which used to focus mainly on high school and college students, but individuals aged 25 and older comprise 50% of its 15 million users.
