Utah woman proof colon cancer can strike at any age

Allison Sandor of West Point, Utah, was only 29 when she was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer after 15 months of misdiagnoses. At first, her physician told her to eat more fiber to cure her symptoms, which included blood in the stool. She has been cancer-free for four years, following a procedure to remove part of her colon, several months of chemotherapy and surgery to remove cancer that had spread to one of her lungs.
