Businesses to lobby Senate for swift action on cap-and-trade bill

Officials from more than 140 companies, including Dow Chemical, are gathering in Washington, D.C., starting today to push for the timely passage of the greenhouse-gas cap-and-trade bill. "This is a powerful message that U.S. businesses are united on the urgency for tackling climate change," said an executive who helped organize the lobbying effort.
