Enbridge plans $250M pipeline project in U.S. Gulf

Enbridge will work with Chevron, Statoil Gulf of Mexico and Marubeni Oil & Gas to build and run a 40-mile pipeline from the planned Big Foot ultra-deepwater venture in the Gulf of Mexico, according to a letter of intent signed by the companies. The project seeks to reach depths of as much as 5,900 feet while moving up to 100,000 barrels per day to a subsea connection. Enbridge expects the proposed pipeline to cost about $250 million.
