FINRA to expand arbitration program

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority will expand a program that gives investors filing eligible claims the option of choosing an arbitration panel with two public members and one affiliated with the brokerage industry or a panel without an industry-affiliated arbitrator. FINRA is expanding the program from 11 broker-dealers to 14, boosting the number of eligible cases by nearly 50%.
