Germans protest carbon-capture plan

German residents are protesting a plan to store carbon dioxide beneath the hills in the eastern part of the country. Swedish energy company Vattenfall plans to store tons of carbon dioxide in saline aquifers. Farmers in some areas will not allow Vattenfall on their land to conduct tests, and villagers have put up signs in their windows protesting carbon capture and storage.
