Napolitano lays out agenda for travel security

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano met recently with lawmakers and travel industry officials to discuss her department's efforts to improve travel security. Napolitano promised more sites for pre-screening passengers arriving from overseas and more funding for inline baggage screening systems. She also reiterated her support for Pass ID to improve aviation security, and warned that without quick passage, some airline passengers may be denied boarding.
