Study: NYC calorie postings don't affect many

New York's practice of posting calorie information on the walls of restaurant chains is not necessarily effective, according to a study by several professors at New York University and Yale. Although some customers at quickservice restaurants in poor neighborhoods say the postings were helpful, looking at receipts later on showed that they still purchased calorie-laden meals.
