Mobile devices give rise to new risks

Lost and stolen devices still pose the greatest threat to mobile security, but malware is becoming increasingly common, experts warn. Encryption, passwords and remote-wiping technology can help safeguard missing hardware, advises the CTO of security firm Lookout. Meanwhile, staff should be on the lookout for suspicious apps or text messages that may contain malware.
