LAN-TAM merger process proceeds despite some concerns

LAN Airlines plans to move forward with its proposed merger with TAM Airlines despite some concerns with the regulatory ruling from a Chilean antitrust tribunal. LAN will appeal parts of the ruling to Chile's Supreme Court. "It is important to highlight that LAN and TAM plan to move forward, in parallel with the Supreme Court appeal process," LAN said in a news release.
