Surety to find new contractor, submit timeline to complete Pa. town's sewer project

A contractor has been removed from a $13.5 million sewer project in Mount Pleasant Township, Pa. According to the solicitor for the Mount Pleasant Township Municipal Authority, when the contractor fell behind schedule and jeopardized meeting the October deadline for completing the work, the bonding company stepped in. The bonding company will hire a new contractor and submit a timeline for completion, he said.
