Air France to eliminate ground positions through attrition

Air France, still struggling with annual losses, announced that it will eliminate more than 1,800 ground positions through voluntary departures at airports in Paris and elsewhere in France and in its freight operations. The Air France-KLM Group said Air France still had 350 more pilots and 700 more cabin crew than it needs, but made no decision about further cuts.
