Airlines offering new travel perks

Instead of simply charging for checked bags, airlines are trying to upgrade the travel experience with new optional ancillary services, such as iPads preloaded with movies, first-class meals in coach or travel packages that include free checked bags, early boarding and a waiver of change fees.
