Cookies don't work well on smartphones, so multiple companies are stepping with new ideas for tracking users on phones and all of their other devices. Through partnerships with mobile applications and advertising platforms, companies such as Drawbridge and Flurry are able to identify people on devices through just browsing habits. "We're observing your behaviors and connecting your profile to mobile devices," said Drawbridge Chief Operating Officer Eric Rosenblum.
