Government furlough delays end to airline electronic restrictions

The FAA is unable to review panel recommendations for ending restrictions on the use of some portable electronic devices during takeoffs and landings because of the partial government shutdown. "We will post the report and issue guidelines when the lapse in funding is resolved," the FAA said in a statement.
