Macy's pulls back on China e-commerce expansion

Macy's won't move forward with a plan to launch expanded online retail sales in China this spring, opting instead to take time to learn more about the country's shoppers before making an investment, spokesman Jim Sluzewski said. The move comes amid slowing growth in China. Earlier this year, Neiman Marcus closed a mainland China warehouse and began fulfilling China orders from its U.S. warehouses.
