Study: 5-meal pattern curbs obesity risk in adolescents

Adopting a five-meal pattern -- breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks -- daily was tied to lower obesity risk in adolescent boys and girls, and reduced odds of central obesity in boys, a study found. The results appear in the journal PLoS One.
