Opinion: Interstate has some tough questions to answer

Interstate Bakeries may have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from its creditors, but to successfully emerge from the proceedings, the maker of Twinkies snack cakes must figure out the fundamental cause of its problems, Morningstar's Matthew Reilly says. One finance professor contends that Interstate may do well to find a third-party buyer, but others are more optimistic, saying the company can build on its strong brands and the reputation of its new CEO.
