Recruited Indian teachers make Cleveland their new home

Three years after they were recruited for hard-to-fill math, science and special education positions, 42 of the original 50 Indian educators are still teaching in inner-city Cleveland classrooms. Former district Director of Human Resources Carol Hauser said some of the Indian teachers, who eagerly took advantage of professional development courses, have become the best teachers in the system.
