Falling revenues force job cuts at Mesa

Mesa Air Group plans to implement across-the-board staffing cuts due to a projected $250 million drop in revenues. "The company will be smaller this year, and we needed to right-size the workforce to the new level of reductions," Chairman Jonathan Ornstein said Monday. Delta Air Lines announced in August it was terminating a service agreement with Freedom Airlines, a Mesa subsidiary.
