Hispanic mobile youth market outpacing overall teen growth

Cell phone use among Hispanic teenagers in the U.S. will double or triple the rate of the overall teen market in the next five years, according to a report from researcher MultiMedia Intelligence, which pegged the current Hispanic teen market at 2.5 million subscribers. "Within the teen segment, Hispanic teens have unique wireless usage characteristics," said Frank Dickson, the firm's chief research officer.
