Policy panel wants private sector to contribute to infrastructure

A policy panel in the Bay Area of California suggests that the private sector is interested in funding a greater portion of the region's infrastructure. A proposed $32 billion bullet train between San Francisco and Los Angeles could find a third of its funds coming from such investors. Other public-private partnerships could help fund roads, waterworks and buildings.
