Recycling roofing into shingles cuts costs, saves environment

Two Wisconsin companies have formed a partnership to recycle asphalt roofing shingles into asphalt paving material. B.R. Amon & Sons Inc. and Rooftop Recycling say recycling shingles will improve the pavement and make it more economical. "Ten other states are already recycling asphalt shingles into pavement, but Wisconsin is just now starting," noted B.R. Amon President Tom Amon. "This represents a huge opportunity to help the environment while also providing a high-quality paving material."
