La. landfill methane project could bring $33M in revenue over 20 years

Louisiana could earn as much as $33 million from a methane-collection project at the North Baton Rouge Landfill over the next two decades, officials said. The project, which will start construction in November, will supply methane gas to ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge polyolefins site and a Novolyte Technologies chemical facility.
