Panasonic president calls 3-D undertaking "very ambitious"

Panasonic, one of the TV makers that is most bullish on the future of 3-D-capable television sets, admitted that robust demand for the devices still is three or four years away, in part because so many consumers recently purchased brand-new flat-screen models. Despite the fact that the company has stated it wants to bring out a 3-D TV next year, Panasonic President Fumio Ohtsubo called the undertaking "very ambitious."
