Shell starts design work on $5B floating LNG project off W. Australia

Royal Dutch Shell has begun preliminary design work on a floating liquefied natural gas platform that the company plans to use for its Prelude and Concerto finds off the coast of Western Australia. A draft report on the environmental effects of the $5 billion project will be opened Monday for public comment, a Shell spokeswoman said.
